Friends

According to Webster dictionary a friend is:

1 a : one attached to another by affection or esteem

b : acquittance

2

a : one that is not hostileb : one that is of the same nation, party, or group

3

: one that favors or promotes something (as a charity)

4

: a favored companion

I had to put the definition down to emphasize my points. I've come to realize that the word FRIEND is a strong word. I've also realized that I've used it to describe certain people that just do not deserve the title. Webster would describe a friend as an acquittance but I disagree with that. I feel that an acquittance is someone that your are cordial with and when you see that person you speak to them.

A FRIEND doesn't:

• lie to you
• betray you
• hurt you
• or doubt you

There's this one person I once called a friend until that particular person let their true colors come out. I wish I would of had that information a long time ago but time tells all. (Or so they say) So for now on I'm going to be sure to be more careful with my words and not give someone the benefit of being called my FRIEND. So I hope everyone can get something from this and to be sure to be more careful in the future. Peace & Love.

I'm Lazy?

I've come to the conclusion that I'm just really lazy when it comes to certain things. This is my first time updating my blog in a couple of months which is just really sad. I have a lot on my mind and I know how I am when it comes to expressing myself. I like to keep things in and deal with it when I need to but most of the time I don't do anything which is not good. I do enjoy writing on my own not having to write for a grade. I feel that this blog is a way of self expression for me and I've haven't been taking advantage of that. Maybe I'm not lazy. Maybe it's just time constraints. Maybe it's both actually. I don't know whatever it is I need to just make time, no excuses. I have a feeling that I'm going to be blogging a lot now :)

BET Awards 2010

I found this year show to be the best they had in a while. The BET awards was actually great. I witnessed some things that I will be able to tell my kids about. There were a lot of #EPIC moments. Drake I love you your performance was great. So was Chris Brown performance for MJ. I do have my opinions on CB's tears but that is besides the point. His performance was just beautiful. Moving on though basically I just enjoyed the show.

Noah "40" Shebib

So I watched the documentary of Drake on MTV and I loved it. I learned a lot about one of my favorite artists. In the documentary he introduced his close friend and producer of some of his songs Noah "40" Shebib. Noah was diagnosed with MS when he was in his 20s. As soon as I heard that I felt a connection between Noah and I. My aunt has been living with MS for majority of her life and I've seen the effects its had on her. I know that MS has different effects on different people but I did not know you could die from it. I want to meet Noah one day so I can tell him how much I admire his strength. It is inspirational to me especially since I found out that I could get that one day. The thought is scary but it is reality. I also want to tell him how attractive he is but that is besides the point. I love the closeness that Drake and Noah share also. I think it is beautiful. To Noah aka 40, you keep staying strong. You are talented and beautiful and I dedicate this post to you.

My first blog and first post

Well this is my first blog and by golly I'm excited for myself. I always wanted one. I don't necessarily know how to use a blog or know if anyone will ever read my posts but it doesn't matter. I shall use my blog to express myself and get some of these emotions out of me. So if I never get any followers its ok. This blog is for me.

I did take a look at my love Pharrell Williams blog (to get some ideas and what not) and I see he posts a lot of pictures and videos. I like that and will try and incorporate some pictures and videos that relate to what I'm talking about. Me myself personally, I'm a visual learner so that will be good. So off that and on to my blogging. This is so exciting.
